Imagine this,
You're strolling leisurely along the beach, smiling to yourself, thinking "It's a wonderful day".
Everything around you felt great and you think to yourself, "Nothing could go wrong today"
Just when you think the waves are calm and the wind is gentle ; a storm suddenly barged in and took you off guard.
It did felt like that, i think. It's like being swept away by the sudden tsunami of emotions, carrying you off to somewhere or nowhere. You lose your sense of directions. You cry out, you struggle to get out, but the waves are too strong. You drown. In despair and devastation.
Yes, i think that's the closest description i can get to the real thing.
Though this episode of drama has ended, it left many people scarred and broken. Like the aftermath of a tsunami. It will never be the same again.
A poem suddenly took shape in my mind as I sat down reflecting what had happened. So i had to write it down.
Crying tears of blood till heart turns blind,
broken promises were proved unkind;
who knew one day all 'We"s will turn to "I"s,
And every fault is yours not mine?
broken promises were proved unkind;
who knew one day all 'We"s will turn to "I"s,
And every fault is yours not mine?
Twas an ugly truth unveiled after 23 years of living in the 'real' world.
