An ugly truth

A recent drama in life has given me a cruel insight to what life is all about.

Imagine this,
You're strolling leisurely along the beach, smiling to yourself, thinking "It's a wonderful day".
Everything around you felt great and you think to yourself, "Nothing could go wrong today"
Just when you think the waves are calm and the wind is gentle ; a storm suddenly barged in and took you off guard.

It did felt like that, i think. It's like being swept away by the sudden tsunami of emotions, carrying you off to somewhere or nowhere. You lose your sense of directions. You cry out, you struggle to get out, but the waves are too strong. You drown. In despair and devastation.

Yes, i think that's the closest description i can get to the real thing.

Though this episode of drama has ended, it left many people scarred and broken. Like the aftermath of a tsunami. It will never be the same again.

A poem suddenly took shape in my mind as I sat down reflecting what had happened. So i had to write it down.

Crying tears of blood till heart turns blind,
broken promises were proved unkind;
who knew one day all 'We"s will turn to "I"s,
And every fault is yours not mine?

Twas an ugly truth unveiled after 23 years of living in the 'real' world.

Dream fullfilled in Temerloh Part 1

We've been talking about this for 3 years and it was only accomplished on 29th August 2009.

Considered wish/ dream fulfilled for us 5 girls-"sisters"

Took us 3 years to finally step foot in dear Yee Ho's home town. And after 3 of the 'sisters' graduated too!

We began our little expedition on Saturday morning-took LRT to Masjid Jamek and later took LRT again to Titiwangsa then slept through a 1hr 45 min bus ride before reaching little Temerloh~

It is a small little town with lots (I MEAN A LOT) of shop houses. According to our host, her town is where majority (well, almost all her friends and families) own business of some kind. Hers, one that sells any domestics gadgets (as in spare parts of loo, car, piping, etc) I dunno what name applies to it but yeah, you get the idea. Anyway, first to do list in Temerloh is none other than-----EAT! Yes, we have a late lunch at a restaurant which was quite empty (well, you can say empty except for us and another table of customers) since it was way past lunch time anyway. The first picture I took, believe it or not, it's not that Temerloh sign up there but a table of FOOD. Yes. It's that significant in our lives. FOOD. Can't live without them.

Then, we went around for a town tour and finished the tour in like 1 hour plus before making our way home to Yeeho's "GONG"(castle coz it looked like one) for a nice looong nap.

Night came earlier than we thought and soon it was dinner time!!Yeeho's parents were kind enough to treat us out for a dinner at a local restaurant and there, we enjoyed few local delicacies recommended by her dad. We also had beer because apparently, her dad thinks that we are uni students and are old enough to handle beer!Kekekeke...I didn't worry that much thanks to my alcohol training with the koreans. Food was great and soon we departed to the town centre for a little shop. Well, we didn't really shop except for one of us-ping. Since Yeeho kept pressing on about how there's really no place to see or things to do...we ended up going around quite aimlessly until we found ourselves chillin out a newly opened cafe-The RED Island. It was packed with human beings and thanks to the fact that Yeeho's famous family business(With Taiteck you can basically go anywhere in Temerloh~ ;D) we found ourselves getting "VIP" service by the boss(i assume only) and found a place to sit in an presumably TOO PACKED cafe. There, we cam whored ourselves away n munched on some finger food to pass the time~It was nice~Clock strikes almost 12, it was time for us princesses to head home.

Day 1 ends...

to be continued...

Try doing this for a change

I thought this is a good idea for truth or dare game , as a dare of course~It might freak out some innocent souls and might annoyed the hell out of the person who's taking your order but hey~this world needs some loosen up...agree?

12 weeks of teaching=hell? Heaven?

Well, it's not hell. It's not heaven either.

It's somewhere in between.

But the stress has taken a toll on me. I've beginning to feel the weight on my shoulders each time i stepped into the classroom facing 40 faces staring back at me, waiting for me to say something wise, which i hope i did. And the fact that knowing my 40 other students were having serious trouble at speaking even the simplest English almost thrown me over the edges of sanity.

But it is my "duty" or rather a mission bestowed on me to guide my students along the way, helping them make even the slightest progress even if it means taking little baby steps (which bound to take forever). BUT, by the end of the day, I want to be reassured by the fact that they had indeed learned the tiniest bit of something from me.

If that is something to worry about, another fact that my unpredictable supervisor has yet to make his visit to the school which i feared could be any day by now. I don't fancy the idea of him dropping by unannounced but yeah, that's not for me to decide anyway. GOLLy~I hope i will be fully prepared by the time he gets here!!!

And yes, being in school, i felt I'm having a split personality as i tried to put up a tough front. Or rather a stern and radiates "don't mess me, you brats!" aura~!
Anyhow, tomorrow's another day ...two days to go before my awaited weekends comes!

Random thoughts

This lovable creature which is rarely perceived as cute or anything close to being adorable (but there's one that does and had recently gained a bit of attention among the movie audience who by the way goes by the name of Melman) had been spotted perhaps too often, printed on Tee-shirts in every store I have visited.

This one has been on my mind for two days

A slight suspicion arose in me making me wonder if it's going be the next big "thing" in the fashion world but that has yet to be confirmed.

And because of that, I have this unhealthy urge to get one myself as I mentally make invalid assumptions about how it is going to be the next 'in' item.

"It's gonna be anytime soon when i start seeing people walking around in Giraffe tees,"
"Who knows maybe Junsu will be wearing them in their pics? Anyone of the dbsk boys too??" (purely lame excuses to allow myself committing a sinful crime-splurging.)

Yup, I said that to myself every time i walked past a giraffe tee as if that's gonna happen~!

With a longing gaze that might resembles something like this...I tried to brush that thought off with much difficulty.

Well, maybe one of these days i might just give in to my 'sinful desire' and got myself a G-Tee~
And my four-legged yellow spotted friend will probably send a kiss or two to show gratitude of my love for them! YUCKS!

somewhere over the rainbow

Believe it or not....I have spotted rainbows 3 times within a month. THAT is not normal, is it? Or I just didn't look hard enough before this at the sky?Whatever it is, if rainbows are signs of good luck, I would have been very much fortunate indeed. Talk about finally accomplishing one of my new year's resolution- Getting my driver's license!
