Hello from.....

It has been a while since I blogged.

Let me begin by saying this.

I grew up loving a lot of things. Things that any other kids would love. Ice cream, candy, toys, Disney Cartoons....hey! Did I just said Disney?

Disney is....Legen....wait for it....DARY! The Classic Disney fairytales and non-fairy tales cartoons are to me like drugs to drug addicts...well, that may not be the best comparison but you get it.

Then soon, Disney turns to musicals...musicals where people sing and dance and act and kiss and sing again and dance some more....in better words---let's call it
"BROADWAY"

Yup, I watched broadway productions /musicals on MGM just when I was 8 or 9. Not old enough to understand what was going on but old enough to know singing and dancing kept me happy and glued to the screen.(Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and etc etc thn became names I would imprint in my head forever)

Mom always said I have a serious problem. That I would not study hard enough for my exams. YES. Watching TV, that was and still is my serious proble
m. But here I got to say that if I ever live to watch a live Broadway, that will be one of my ultimate DREAM come true. Now, I move on from small screen to bigger ones in the cinema. And talking about cinema, that brings us to Hollywood.

Hollywood, to me is like a magic factory. And all I know is they have been producing magic for as far as I can remember. And I have imagined how I would visit that amazing Magic Factory. And so, you can see that my love for the products of human's imagination is so ever infinite and sincere. (which also includes books exclusively)

Now why am I talking about this again? ??

Right, I remember.

I'm currently in THE part of the world that produces these MAGIC so wonderfully and powerfully.

I'm in the United States of America!!!

I'm so ever close to my idol and my role model>>>>>Oprah Winfrey as she is just almost 2 hours car drive away from where I'm staying!Well, not exactly...her studio is more likely. Imagine breathing the same air as she is....

And to think that I will be able to really watch a Broadway performance with my very two eyes...is mind blowing! And I haven't even watch it yet!The thought alone suffice.

And to think I'm in a University where the infamous voice of Homer Simpson was an alumni was beyond AWESOME!
Yes, you heard me. 'Mr. Simpson' was studying in NIU.

Being given this chance n gift of a lifetime, I will try to fulfill all my childhood and teenage dreams one at a time>>like visit Disney world, eat a hot dog in New York, standing outside of Harpo studios trying to get a desperate glimpse of Oprah etc etc....I knew after 9 months of America, I will never be the same again.....

So to end this post, I shall proceed from where I left off in the title........America.
